A Wild in Art event in support of Heart of Kent Hospice.

The Hengist

The Hengist Restaurant, situated in Aylesford, Kent is proud to announce their involvement in the first-ever art trail coming to Maidstone in 2021, in support of Heart of Kent Hospice.

Hengist have a deserved reputation as a community spirited business and as such are delighted to be associated with this worthy cause and becoming an Official Sponsor for Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade.  We consider this initiative ideally placed to reflect the ethos upon which our business is founded, whilst mirroring the local based mindset which we strive to nurture.

The Hengist has already fostered a close relationship with the Heart of Kent Hospice and St Peters, the village primary school, and both children and staff have bought into this wonderful innovation with commitment and gusto. We are the host venue for the Hengist Christmas Carol concert and light switch on, which involves both the school and the hospice, with all proceeds raised going directly to the hospice.

As a village amenity we at the Hengist in particular, and Aylesford in general, are proud to be associated with such a worthy cause.  The notion of sponsoring one of the 50 sculptures that both residents and tourists will visit across nine weeks, is something we are justifiably proud to be associated with.
