A Wild in Art event in support of Heart of Kent Hospice.

The Civil Service Insurance Society (CSIS) was founded in 1890 to provide insurance services to Victorian civil servants. From day one it dedicated all its profit in support of the widows and orphans of deceased policyholders. Today CSIS still maintains a “not for profit” status and has been supporting local Kent charities for over 15 years. Each year we donate our profits to the independent CSIS Charity Fund which in turn distributes them via grants to charities helping active, retired and former civil and public servants.

CSIS, based in Maidstone, began supporting Heart of Kent Hospice in 2015, when we sponsored the Cyclo Sportive event. Every year since, we have helped where we can. We are delighted to be part of such a such an innovative initiative and worthwhile cause; it has been great for our team to know that we continue to support the Heart of Kent Hospice for the fourth year running in such a colourful way, through Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade.

The big difference about taking out an insurance policy with CSIS is that all profit goes to charity, providing a real benefit to people from the public services who are facing hardship.
